Yeah, I know, I'm quite late with this and it's been...three weeks since I did the last sample? Shit, I need to get back to this stuff. Anyway, since I managed to buy a copy of DOOM's Operation: Doomsday on vinyl today (I didn't even know it existed), I figured I'd go with one of my favorites cuts off the album called "Hey!" The thing that always tripped me out about this song was that it sampled Scooby-Doo. I always thought it was a sampling of a couple of episodes, but turns out, it was the theme song from the 1970's incarnation of the series, presumably written by Hoyt Curtin (I could be wrong about that, I had to IMDB it for the info). Anyway, enjoy both.
MF DOOM - "Hey!"
Hoyt Curtin - "The New Scooby-Doo Movies (Theme)"

I just picked up Operation Doomsday a couple days myself. A requirement for a true head if you ask me.
Great blog. I'll be checking in more often.
